i hear mcain talking about nuclear power plants and how it will help the world blah blah, but it just sounds gross, like in 5 years we will all be mutants, like in “i am legand”…why is solar power plants not an option?

My guess is that nuclear plants actually provide more power per unit of land that they take up. Solar plants need a lot of land. Also, solar power plants don’t do well in areas that get snow, which is a good chunk of the country.
