SAN FRANCISCO, CA–(Marketwire – April 13, 2011) – Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability, U.S. Foodservice-San Francisco activated a 1.18 megawatt (MW), 4,354 photovoltaic solar panel installation. The largest rooftop and carport solar power system in Northern California, it is expected to provide 40 percent of U.S. Foodservice-San Francisco’s power needs during daylight hours.
