My PV Array called for extra bracing. This shows the extra bracing I added to support my PV on top of my garage roof. I am installing 30 thin-Film panels which weigh 35 lbs each. This equals 1050 lbs per side, not including the mounting rack system. When complete, I will have a west side array and an east side array. In my opinion, thin-film PV produces more power in less sunlight than Mono or Poly.
