I hear great things about solar power here is sunny so cali. I am talking about the solar panels on top of the houses. Does anyone know about how much they cost and what is involved in the installation? Any cons?

Solar is a great way to save the earth, but it doesnt really pay for itself. You can buy most systems for 25-50 thousand depending on how much energy you want the system to deliver and other options.
