Solve the unemployment problem, millions of jobs would become available.

Stop US dependence on foreign oil.

Completely pollution free and renewable forever.

No not really.
He doesn’t have a trillion dollars to spend in the first place.
In the second solar & wind power don’t pay for themselves, they are expensive sources of energy, & extremely high maintenance for what they give.
Better to build some new dams. or new nuclear plants.
Start some highway repair projects.
Build new aircraft for the military.
Urge people to buy American.
Help the farmers.
Develope propane cars, they are much cleaner running.
Develope hydrogen from water to get better gas mileage.
Push BP to start with the programs to clean up and employ people that have lost their jobs because of the oil spill.

If we increase gasoline taxes it will result in the price of everything going up at this point in time. I agree we must conserve, but I think most Americans are on a minimum budget anyway & taxing them at the pump so that their food, and goods prices go up is counter productive to helping the economy. That should be done when we have recovered.
