Solar Power being used, by installing conversion cell panels for street lighting, of parks and exhibition grounds and social functions in many parts of India.
Solar Power not installed for street lighting of highways at least in India, due higher lumines required for lighting’s, presently. May be later on with development of better quality panels of volt metric cells are produced that in India, too we make use of Solar Power for street lighting all the roads and streets, as well as Highways.
Like Railways trying to make use of brake power for generating power in India.
