I have a 5kw Coleman generator. The engine is no longer running. Is it possible to convert the generator to run on solar power ? If so what would I need to do. I have year round sunshine.

Generators run on gasoline and have no way to store the electricity.

Solar panels produce electricity, but you need batteries to store the electricity, also inverters to convert the 12V to 110VAC.

Unless you can think of a way for solar panels to make gasoline, the answer is no.
