Not that easily, after all. It takes photovoltaic cells (you can look them up on the Internet, e.g. wikipedia, then look at the pricelist of a retailer of electronic components), and, unfortunately, they cost a fortune! We can, however, easily make use of the temperature the sunlight generates. all we need to do is run water through black hoses or old radiators painted mat black, and exposed to direct sunlight. The water heats up nicely!
