Is it possible, or has there been a study done, on running a car off of alternative energy sources, besides solar and biofuels, such as Geothermal Energy; Tidal Energy; and Wind Energy?

Wind energy possible. Geothermal and Tidal Energy not possible unless the vehicle is going to be underwater or in attached to the ground or stationary which means they would not be cars as defined because they would not move.
