Near Gap,France and the surounding region how is the wind speed for a turbine. Also how is sun exsposure ( lenghth in day) for a solar panel. Also, locals, is alturnitive energy common?

Being up in the Hautes Alpes on the Route Napoleon. I would presume it has an excellent chance to have enough winds to feed eolic turbines. (The mistral is well known in Hautes Alpes, and the rest of Provence). As to solar power, I would say it is probably less interesting because of the long winter months… Sorry, I can’t help you on the alternative energy statistics.
