How to improve your search engine rankings
In order to get the first place in the search results, a page must be of high relevance to the traffic it expects and deliver content which answers the search query and answers its query intent. By now, you have probably heard much of the negative talking out there about search engine optimization. People vow never to use companies or products that rely on it or give it a second look ever again — but find themselves disappointed when their last search results put them in the number two spot instead of first.
And although some people swear that SEO can totally destroy a company’s brand — promoting you instead of the brand — there is no denying the level of improvement it can bring to the performance of both businesses and websites. Having said all that, interacting with search engine results in a certain way can help improve the quality of the search results.
First of all, make sure that your site is on the SERPs (Search Results Page) by default. This is part of Google’s content-aggregator algorithm, and this measurement determines which sites get shown to people in its search results and how high those results are ranked in Google’s search engine. Crawling and indexing your website are both required because it’s part of the process Google uses to determine how relevant your site is and not how relevant people are searching for.

Essentially, the more times a page appears in the SERPs, the better it is considered to be by Google. This is why it is important to observe how often your website is crawled by Google and whether you are getting a good or bad experience there because, once again, Google decides where to place your site in its results.
Google’s algorithm is the main component of SEO. Google’s search engine delivers results specific to different industries, such as searches for computers, groceries, travel, movies, etc. Google naturally surfaces and ranks content that matches the intent of each user and environment. SEO professionals optimize web pages for higher rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs). The result is that you will, hopefully, attract not only potential customers, but actual customers, too!
The key components of SEO includes kyword research. Before you start generating keywords, know that not all of them will be relevant. Remember that you can only rank your top few ranking keywords with high-volume keywords. Saying “we track all topics and rank all keywords” is empty marketing speak.
