If you are talking about the power meter that belongs to the power company, it will take a lot of specialized expensive equipement. If you hook directly into the power in your house, you will burn up your solar panels and the wiring in between.

You need a controller that will allow electricity to pass only one direction into the power grid, and it must be specifically designed to work with the voltage your solar panels are producing and the higher voltage of the Commercial Power Grid.

This is something best left to the experts in this field. It is not something the common person can do for themselves.
