Do you think I could potentially make a lot if I started my own shape-memory alloy company & solar power?
In future, I’m thinking shape-memory alloys and solar power (chargers) may take off. Right now I’m a teenager but I have always been business-orientated, and I have made £3000 (not joking) from businesses I started up in the past. Do you think both businesses potentially could make a over a million dollars in the future?

The future of solar power is in net metering not in batteries. Advance charge controllers may be of interest in hybrid cars where there is no choice but to have batteries. Shape-memory alloys is a raw material for manufacturing, whose your market? who are you selling to? what are you selling? billets, finished product. I think there will be a rather high cost of capital with whatever memory metal product you come up with.
There’s always a potential for making millions. One millionaire I met was an English teacher who bought a vending machine run for income and while servicing a machine at Continental Express overheard people complaining about federal regulations that required jet engines to be washed with pure water, almost distilled and that they couldn’t afford to wash engines with distilled water so he offered to lease them pressure washers that would meet the federal requirements, his first product was literally just filters and pressure washers from home depot enclosed in a steel box that they weren’t allowed to open, with the revenue from the lease he hired engineers to refine the product and since they were leased, he could swap out the units and that’s how he built his empire by promising something he couldn’t really deliver and then figuring out how to deliver it.
