Building Solar Panels – pros and cons of free and professional plans
Like so many homeowners, I am the one who does everything to cut my expenses. In today’s economy nothing is a sure thing when it comes to the price of bills from one day to the next. Most people are keen on solar panels and you are more than likely aware of the fact that there are many different instructional plans you can get a hold of at the library and online. Some paid for and others you can get for free. Both types provide details and blueprints that give you simple steps on creating your very own home energy system.
I have solar panels on my home and find them very affordable, mine have paid for themselves many times over. So instead of going into all the details of building them, I’d like to take your attention and turn it toward the pros and cons of the different kinds of home solar panel systems that you can get – like the free plans and the paid-for plans.
Free plans can be found all over the place online and you can download them for free. These types of plans provide varying levels of details about building them on your own. Personally I know that these types of plans usually are not easy to understand and can be very vague about things that they, (the designers,) deem not that important. They fail to understand who is actually putting these home solar systems together. A lot of times these plans are incomplete and the pictures or illustrations are either too technical for the novice or they simply are not there.
Most people that try the free plans usually give up because they don’t understand the instructions and have tons of difficulty with them. Unless you have a degree in engineering, I’m gonna tell you to stay away from the free plans and designs.
If you want to get a general idea on how things are done and just what you might be getting yourself into, then go ahead and look through a couple of them. But other than that, don’t get into a job like this using them.
Now getting into the professional plans and design manuals: these ones are very well researched and designed specifically with the average minded, non technical folks who have very little or no knowledge at all about energy systems. These plans are fully packed with top quality information and fully illustrated with hands-on step-by-step pictures that become very useful because they walk you through the entire building process visually.
Now days some of these professional manuals even come with video instruction which is awesomely helpful because it leaves nothing out for the imagination to assume that this is how something looks like it goes together.
Professional solar energy system manuals are generally not expensive at all. You can get them for around . And you will get all the information you need to build your own solar energy system.
These guides definitely give you more bangs for your buck. With a one-time investment you get well-researched information that pays for itself in no time at all and then starts putting the savings into your bank account. The only thing left after you purchase one of the plans is to put them into action and start building yourself one.
So if you are in the market for saving yourself some serious money on your energy bill by building yourself your very own solar power system, then I’d strongly suggest that you buy yourself a professional set of plans because it will be some of the best money you’ve ever spent. Take it from my experience.
